Which LED strips do I need?
Basically, you can use any type of LED strip, but you will have considerable advantages with our strips. Our DURAL LED strips are extremely narrow and can therefore be easily inserted into any of our DURAL LED profiles. In addition, with the DURAL LED strip we offer a particularly high-quality strip, because with 240 LEDs per metre it can have far more LEDs than other systems, but at the same time consumes very little power.
Do I need a transformer?
As a rule, you always need a transformer to put an LED strip into operation because the LED strips are operated with 24 V direct current (DC). Therefore, the 230 V alternating current (AC) from the socket must be converted into 24 V DC via a transformer. Everything is included in our DURAL LED connection set so that you can easily connect the strips yourself without much prior knowledge.
Can I connect several LED strips to one transformer?
The DURAL LED distributor allows you to turn one connection socket into several. You have the choice between a 2-way and a 6-way distributor. Please always pay attention to the total power of the board.
What other connection cables are available?
In addition to the DURAL LED connection set, where you can connect your LED Strip, we also offer suitable additional cables for certain special situations.
For example, you can use a DURAL LED connecting cable to connect two cut DURAL LED strips directly to each other. With a DURAL LED extension cable you can increase the distance from the DURAL LED transformer to the LED strip, for example if you want to use the strip in damp rooms. If you do not want to connect several cut DURAL LED strips directly to each other but want to connect them to a DURAL LED distribution box, you can use the DURAL LED connection cable.
