Drill holes in tiles
Often shower shelves are attached to the wall with screws. Screws also mean holes in the walls or tiles. What is otherwise relatively quick and easy, is not so easy with tiles. Unsuitable tools and the smallest inaccuracies in the implementation can cause cracks and fractures in the tiles. You also have to be careful not to damage any water or electrical lines when drilling.
In addition, especially in rented apartments, it is better to ask the landlord before you start drilling the wall, because otherwise you will end up with an unclean tile surface when you move out.
Sticking shower tray - better method?
To avoid holes in tiles is often used glue. However, there are several methods here and not every one leads to a stable, long-lasting solution. If you simply glue the shower trays to the tiles, it can happen that the glue detaches from the tile over time and thus can no longer ensure an optimal hold. Likewise, everyone (who chooses the adhesive method) should be aware that the shower tray is not as stable as if you fix it with screws.
We definitely don't think that modern adhesive technology is bad, but we would like to make it even more stable.
That's why our solution is called - work the shower tray into the joint with glue.
How it works?
Shower tray "LINE" stainless steelVery simple. You remove the grout from the place where the shower tray is to be inserted. Adhesive (e.g. our DURAL Speed-Flex mounting adhesive) must be applied to the resulting crack and to the edge of the shower tray and pushed into the joint. Fix the shower tray and seal it with silicone. We recommend here, for example, our Fugenboy professional case set. This set contains silicone remover, smoothing agent and 6 silicone joint tools.

This tumbler holder finds its perfect place, of course, at the sink and thus should no longer be missing in any bathroom. With a diameter of 7 cm, it is perfect for placing conical cups and glasses. In addition, the cup holder still has three extremely practical recesses, where, for example, toothbrushes find their place.
