Adjustment profiles - Perfect to compensate for height differences
What is meant by adjustment profiles?
Matching profiles are often used to separate two different subfloors or to compensate for height differences. Height leveling or matching profiles create a clean, smooth transition between different floor coverings. Whether from tile to parquet or from tile to carpet, they provide height compensation of the different floors and a harmoniously flowing appearance. In addition, the profiles are ideal for connecting concrete surfaces or plastic coatings to ceramic coverings, which are usually located in areas subject to higher mechanical loads.
The tile edge is protected from possible damage with this rail. The shape and material have been selected so that the rails can withstand greater loads. For this reason, the adjustment profiles are also popular for outdoor use in garage entrances.
What tile profiles for height adjustment do we have in our assortment?
We have different types of adjustment profiles in the store. In our shop, you will find height leveling profiles made of aluminum with wide treads for larger height differences and oh narrow variants. For outdoor use, we especially recommend our wide rails, where the shape and material have been selected so that the profiles can withstand large loads. Point loads are evenly transferred into the pavement and subsoil.
Of course, we have many other adjustment profiles in different designs in our assortment, so that there is something for every taste. Whether they are profiles without visible screws for click or adhesive mounting, or profiles as a screwable 3-part construction with omega rocker function. Adjustment profiles we have in the store made of high quality material aluminum. You can choose between the colors silver (natural), silver (anodized), champagne and titanium.
In the category you can also find our ramp profiles made of stainless steel and aluminum. Ramp profiles enable the sloping transition from tiles to, for example, laminate and parquet floors with a different covering height. Our load-bearing ramp profiles are used wherever loads have to be transported over different floor coverings. The ramp profiles are easy to lay and quick to install thanks to the simple adhesive fastening. In addition, they are perfect for driving on with wheelchairs, pallet trucks and, for example, sack trucks.
We offer ramp profiles in 90 cm as well as in 270 cm length. With the stainless steel rail you have the choice between 2 different heights, with the aluminum variant there are even 3.
Application & care instructions of adjustment profiles
Tile rails can be used wherever no unusual chemical reactions are expected. Careful handling of cement materials is required to avoid corrosion. Since aluminum is sensitive to alkaline media, residues of mortar, adhesive or grout must be removed immediately from all visible surfaces. The lath must be completely embedded in the contact layer. The matching profiles made of anodized aluminum have a special finish so that the surface does not normally change. Damage can be caused by scratching or abrasive objects.
