Worktop profiles - To protect your worktops
What is meant by countertop profiles?
Countertops are special tile profiles that are attached to the top or edges of countertops. They are used to protect and reinforce the edges of countertops. They are used to protect and reinforce the edges of countertops. This can prevent wear and damage to the high quality kitchens.
Thus, the main application of countertop profiles is the kitchen area, but of course, this particular tile profile can be used in other rooms of the house. For example, they can just as well find their well-deserved place in workshops or hobby rooms.
Countertops are in daily use for a wide variety of activities. It may happen that the working person often leans with his body against the edge of the worktop. For this reason, it is necessary to protect the edges of the countertop. For you, and especially for your children, the use of countertop profiles also means a reduced risk of injury, because the sharp edges are covered with the rounded profile. Likewise, our profiles also protect the surface of tiled countertops from all sorts of impacts, such as side impacts. Without the profile, the delicate tile edge would be exposed to many other stresses and could quickly be damaged. Countertop profiles add quite a bit to the look in addition to protection and safety. For example, they give the kitchen a clean and elegant finish from unsightly edges.
Our countertop profile and its application
Our countertop profile is made of high quality aluminum. You can choose between the colors silver and titanium. In both variants, the surface is anodized. The profile is available in heights of 9 mm, 11 mm & 12.5 mm and is offered to you with all accessories such as external and internal corners, end caps and connectors.
The countertop profile as an edge formation of the tiled work surface brings even more advantages. Typically, it is firmly anchored into the mortar bed of the actual tiles via the molded flange, providing secure support and an immovable stop for the tiles. The rail made of aluminum also grants sufficient strength to absorb even punctual shocks or blows, thus protecting the damage-prone tiles from mischief when they are hit on the edge. In the execution of the tile work, the profile continues to serve as a straight finishing edge that can be easily installed plumb and flush. Visually, a countertop profile offers several interesting options and can either be color-matched to existing elements such as countertops, door handles or other moldings, or highlighted as a stand-alone design element.
A tiled countertop has many advantages; equipped with a tile rail, it also receives the necessary protection and offers a wide range of design options. In hardly any other auxiliary product for the execution of the actual tiling work do technical demands and design diversity come together as easily as in a countertop profile.
