Angle profiles - discreet edge protection for your tiles
What do you need angle profiles for?
Angle profiles or angle rails are the most classic form of tile borders. They are used to finish floor coverings. By installing angle profiles, they elegantly protect your tile edges. You can use them both vertically and horizontally to neatly finish your construction project.
These profiles discreetly enhance the visual impact of a room while providing the level of protection your tiles deserve. Angle rails are used in floor and wall coverings and are always needed when tile coverings run along edges and corners or connect to areas with different floor coverings. In doing so, they fulfill several functions at the same time:
- Protective function: angle rails protect the edges of tile coverings from damage and wear, e.g. from impacts or footsteps.
- Aesthetic function: By using angle rails, edges and corners of tile coverings can be finished in a visually appealing way. Depending on the design and material of the angle rail, various design accents can be set.
- Practical function: angle rails can also help to ensure a uniform joint width and a harmonious tile appearance.
All in all, then, angle rails are an important component of a professional tile installation that is both functionally and aesthetically convincing. They are used both indoors and outdoors and can be supplied in a variety of colors and surface finishes to perfectly match the tile covering.

aluminium Angle sections are popular for their high strength and light weight, and are often used in the construction of frames and structures. They are also corrosion resistant and can be treated with a variety of surface coatings to increase their durability. For this reason, we have aluminum profiles not only in different colors, but also with unusual finishes in the store, such as the DURAL angle profile aluminium leather black. These profiles combine an appealing look with a unique feel.
stainless steel Angle profiles have a high corrosion resistance and are particularly durable. The main advantage of stainless steel profiles is their natural material strength, making them the ideal choice for regular stresses. They are often used in environments where high resistance to rust and other damage is important. Likewise, they are also used in the food and beverage industry, as well as in medical applications, as they are easy to clean and sterilize. We present our tile profiles in two different material variants: stainless steel V2A and stainless steel V4A. The main difference between these two materials lies in their alloy components. V4A is characterized by an increased molybdenum content and is therefore particularly suitable for strong chemical stresses or in the case of intensive exposure to salt water. For this reason, V4A stainless steel is often used in swimming pools or entrance areas where salt is often sprinkled in winter. For private use, V2A stainless steel is usually sufficient.
PVC angle profiles are lightweight and inexpensive and are often used in areas that do not have to withstand large loads, especially in applications such as window frames and doors. Their weight makes them easy to install and clean. You can choose from white, gray, silver gray and pergamon colors.
Brass angle profiles are used in decorative applications, such as interior design and furniture, due to their attractive appearance and corrosion protection. Brass is also very durable and resistant to rust and corrosion.
Overall, angle profiles made of different materials offer a variety of benefits and properties, depending on the requirements of a particular application. It is important to choose the right material for your specific needs to ensure it meets the requirements and does its job.

For example, they serve as a window sill trim, stair tread edge, transition profile between wall and ceiling or to seal joints. The main task of an angle profile is edge protection on doors, stairs, windows or tiles. In addition, it is perfect as a corner and impact protection, because its shape optimally covers the edges of walls, tiles and furniture, protecting them from damage. Meanwhile, angle profiles are just as often used as a design element due to their modern, classic and neutral look and have the task of giving the room that certain something. Due to the wide selection, there is something for every taste and the personal design style can be pursued further.
In addition to the "normal" angle profiles, we also offer flexible profiles for bending, of course, in the angle form. These special profiles are very easy to bend with the help of a curver with a crank and can thus finish off even round floor coverings in style.
