The round solution: quadrant profiles for optimal shaping
What are quarter-circle profiles needed for?
Quarter circle profiles or round profiles are used for finishing floor coverings. In addition to the protective effect, this tile profile shape is also particularly suitable for unusual designs or beautiful roundings. They can be processed both vertically and horizontally to neatly finish off your construction project. In addition, they are often processed in partition areas in bathrooms or vertically at outside corners in living areas.
The round edge trim is one of the most commonly used types of tile profiles. A round edge trim has a round shape with a quarter circle cross section. It is often used as an edge trim and protective trim on corners of walls or flooring. The profile is often made of aluminium or stainless steel to provide a durable, rust-free finish.
There are several advantages to using quarter-circle profiles. First, they protect the edges of the tiles from damage caused by impacts or other effects. Secondly, they provide a rounded finish, which offers an aesthetically pleasing look. Quarter round profiles can be available in a variety of colors and finishes to contribute to a seamless and appealing design.
Overall, the round edge trim or round profile is a versatile option to protect and beautify edges of tiles or other surfaces.

Round profiles made of alu, like their counterparts made of stainless steel, are designed for neat finishing of floor coverings. In addition to their protective function, they also serve decorative purposes. Application & care instructions
Quarter circle profiles or round profiles are used in various applications, especially in the construction and renovation industry.
Quarter circle profiles are often used to cover and protect edges of tiles or flooring. The profiles provide a smooth and clean edge while offering protection against wear and damage. Quadrant profiles can also be used as wall coverings to create a decorative and modern look. Profiles can be applied horizontally or vertically to wall to create a protruding, three-dimensional texture.
Quarter-circle rails made of stainless steel are particularly suitable for areas exposed to high levels of chemicals and acids. They also meet the highest mechanical standards, as stainless steel is simply a very strong alloy.
These tile finishing profiles, with the cross-section of a quarter circle, are used in the design of rounded edges. They are also suitable for a beautiful wall- and floor laying. The coated aluminium has good chemical resistance, but it should not come into contact with abrasive cleaning agents. Quarter-circle profiles made of aluminium can be used anywhere where no unusual chemical reactions are expected. Careful handling of cement materials is required to avoid corrosion. In addition, aluminium is sensitive to alkaline media, so residues of mortar, adhesive or joint cement must be removed from all visible surfaces as soon as possible during installation. The profile should simply be completely embedded in the contact layer, this avoids the creation of voids where alkaline water could accumulate.
Our profiles made of stainless steel do not require any special care. Dirt can be removed with commercially available cleaning agents, but care must be taken that the cleaning agents do not contain hydrochloric acid, hydrofluoric acid and, especially in the case of PVC, solvents. In addition, the cleaning agents must not be abrasive.
