We offer square profiles in stainless steel, aluminium and PVC. You have the choice of different surfaces, heights, lengths and designs, so that you can find the right profile for every construction situation.
stainless steel: You can purchase square stainless steel profiles from us made of V2A stainless steel (1.4301) in the finishes stainless steel natural , stainless steel fine ground / brushed or stainless steel polished. The square edge trim stainless steel brushed holds e.g. high loads and is easy to clean.
You have the choice in our store between 100 cm, 250 cm and 300 cm length. We also offer matching square corners for stainless steel rails, so you no longer have to miter the rails.
aluminium: These square rails are aluminum profiles, which we offer in several colors. The DURAL square edge trim aluminium silver (brushed) we offer also in black anodized or in titanium high-gloss anodized. In addition, the respective high-gloss anodized surfaces have received a fine grinding, which has an extraordinary optical effect. They can be used for tile edge protection or also as partition profiles.
PVC: We also have square profiles made of plastic. Here you can choose between white & black. Profiles made of PVC are used where they are not exposed to high loads. The DURAL square edge trim PVC black is easy to assemble, which makes it an ideal choice for use in various applications.
Application
Square tile profile, due to their shape, allow for optimal and sophisticated designs in combination with tile and natural stone coverings. In addition to the decorative function, the corner and edge areas of the covering are optimally protected, even under heavy use.
Our aluminum profiles are ideal for applications where no extraordinary loads are expected. To prevent unsightly staining (corrosion) on the surface of the profiles, careful handling of cement-based materials is necessary. Residues of mortar, tile adhesive or joint cement should be removed immediately from all visible areas, as aluminium is susceptible to alkaline substances. It is important that aluminum profiles are fully embedded in the adhesive layer to prevent the formation of voids where alkaline water could accumulate (especially in damp areas).
Anodized aluminium is characterized by a particularly refined surface, which normally no longer shows any changes. Nevertheless, the visible areas must be protected from all cementitious materials. Damage can also be caused by abrasive or scratching grout or objects. Rectangular aluminium corner elements ensure precise and professional design of internal and external corners without the need to cut the profiles to size. With the help of suitable corner elements, even three-dimensional corner designs can be realized. For all materials, the following must be observed as a matter of principle: Suitability in terms of mechanical and chemical load-bearing capacity should be checked in the respective application. In general, the generally accepted technical standards must be observed!
