Types of spatulas
Scrapers
are generally used to join building materials with mostly mineral materials or to treat the surface. Likewise, plasters are applied to substrates such as brickwork-concrete with spatulas or trowels. The function of the notched trowel is to apply the tile adhesive to the substrate in a comb-like manner. Only the choice of comb creates an optimum bond between tile and tile adhesive and the substrate to be covered.
Painter's spatula
The painter's spatula is ideal as a surface spatula for applying filling compounds and especially for removing damp wallpaper residues. The spatula has a flexible blade that is hollow-ground on both sides and stainless steel with a width of 40 mm. The plastic handle makes it light and comfortable to hold.
Flat spatula
The surface spatula is the ideal tool for applying and removing plaster between plasterboards. The aluminium back has a soft grip for a secure hold and comfort. In addition, this spatula is rust-proof and therefore corrosion-protected and durable. The surface spatula has a blade width of 480mm. Made in Germany.
