Our range of drainage wedges are made of stainless steel, a material known for its robustness and corrosion resistance. This ensures long-term use and minimizes maintenance. The drainage wedges provide a 2% slope, which is ideal for ensuring efficient water drainage. The 2% slope of, for example, the DURAL stainless steel drainage wedge 148 cm ensures that water flows towards the drain and prevents standing water. This is particularly important to avoid moisture problems and mold growth.
Another feature of the slope wedges is their brushed surface. The finely ground surface creates a uniform and high-quality look and is also easy to clean. The leg is also designed to allow flexible adjustment to deviations. All DURAL slope wedges are available in common heights (10 mm, 11 mm & 12.5 mm). Our tip: Order your profiles 1-2 mm higher than the floor covering you intend to install.
The slope wedges are available in various lengths to meet individual requirements and conditions. This allows for a customized installation and adaptation to different shower sizes and configurations.
In addition to the "normal" slope wedge, we also offer one for wall connection. The wall tiles are glued to the vertical leg, so this slope wedge can be used perfectly for floor-level showers in corner areas. This combination of drainage wedge and glass support simplifies the installation of glass walls or doors in the shower enclosure. The profiles (e.g., DURAL drainage wedge glass support 98 cm ) not only provide a 2% slope, which is crucial for proper drainage, but they can also securely hold glass panes up to 12 mm thick to contain splashing water. With their brushed surface, the drainage wedges also cover the side cheeks of floor-level showers; we offer special variants for the left and right sides. The finely ground surface creates a uniform and high-quality look and is also easy to clean. The leg is also designed to allow flexible adjustment to deviations. The glass support ensures secure fastening of the glass panels and guarantees their stability. This not only contributes to the functionality of the shower but also adds an aesthetic touch to the overall design.

To shorten the profile, always cut the slope wedge at the highest point. Important: There should be no contact between the stainless steel and the glass. Please seal the gap between the profile mount and the glass with sanitary silicone or suitable rubber seals/rubber inserts so that the glass does not rest on the bare stainless steel.
In addition to slope wedges for glass mounting, we also have other profiles that are dedicated solely to glass mounting. Here we distinguish between U-profiles for direct or subsequent installation.
Our DURAL U-profile for glass mounting, made of finely polished stainless steel, with a length of 220 cm and a height of 19 mm, is perfectly suited for installing your floor-level shower. The profile can securely hold glass panes up to 12 mm thick, effectively containing splashes in your bathroom. A U-profile can also be used universally in glass construction. You can use it for glass showers, glass partitions, or as edge protection for glass railings. Wherever sheet metal edges are needed for glass protection or as a mounting profile, these robust U-profiles are ideal.
Press the profile with the perforated fixing lug into the fresh adhesive bed and align it. Then fill the glass support profile with silicone or rubber inserts so that the glass does not rest on the bare stainless steel. Joint width 1.5 mm. Completely fill the joint space with joint mortar.
We offer the U-profile for retrofitting in two finishes. The natural stainless steel U-profile is also available with a brushed surface. Our U-profile for glass mounting made of V2A stainless steel, 220 cm long and 14 mm high, provides perfect glass support and can be easily retrofitted to your floor-level shower. It allows for the secure mounting of glass panels up to 10 mm or 12 mm thick (depending on the chosen variant) to contain splashing water in your bathroom.
The U-profile can be mounted afterwards; the type of fastening is entirely up to you - the profile can be screwed or glued with a suitable adhesive sealant. Then fill the glass support profile with silicone or rubber inserts so that the glass does not rest on the bare stainless steel. Please therefore add at least 1mm to the glass pane.
