A sealing strip is a special product used to seal joints, edges, or transitions to prevent moisture penetration. It usually consists of a flexible and waterproof material such as polyethylene or polypropylene. Especially in wet rooms, but also in certain commercial businesses such as breweries, floors and walls are exposed to particularly high moisture levels. In balcony areas, our sealing strips can be used to connect drainage mats and decoupling mats. These sealing strips help in creating composite seals with sealing mats. The sealing mats offer secure adhesion to the substrate and easy processing. The creation of chemically resistant coverings in conjunction with epoxy resin mortar/joint materials and suitable tiles can be ensured with our sealing mats.
Sealing tapes are used in various areas, but most often they find their place in damp rooms such as bathrooms. They provide effective sealing to prevent moisture damage and maintain the integrity of structures, surfaces, and components.
The bathtub sealing tape is specially designed for sealing bathtubs or shower trays. It is usually a flexible, waterproof tape that is applied along the edges and transitions between the tub or shower tray and the adjacent tiles. This prevents water from penetrating the wall or floor and causing moisture damage.
The DURAL ET-S bathtub sealing tape consists of, for example, a flexible polyethylene foam coated with a special butyl adhesive, making it particularly durable and hard-wearing. Our self-adhesive butyl sealing tape (10 m) is often referred to as sanitary sealing tape and is a universally applicable, high-quality sealing tape. As the name suggests, its main application is sealing joints, corner joints, or butt joints. Our professional butyl tape can be used without problems in temperatures ranging from -35°C to +70°C and is also waterproof. For application, simply peel off the backing film and apply the self-adhesive sealing tape to the surface/mat.
The WS sealing tape with cellar protection makes the work much easier and, thanks to a reinforced fleece, prevents the tape from being damaged by various tools.
If you don't want self-adhesive tape, we have a very good product for you: the 30m sealing tape . The sealing tape is 30m long and available in two widths: 12cm and 15cm. This sealing tape is secured with tile adhesive.
DURAL sealing tape WP is primarily used to seal seams in mats or to waterproof transition areas between walls and floors, as well as pipe connections. For application, the sealing tape is simply embedded in adhesive, providing strong adhesion to the substrate.
