Shower shelves are often attached to the wall with screws. Screws also mean holes in the walls or tiles. What is otherwise relatively quick and easy, is not so easy with tiles. Inappropriate tools and the slightest carelessness during implementation can cause cracks and breaks in the tiles. It is also important to make sure that you do not damage water or electrical pipes while drilling.

In addition, especially in rented apartments, it's best to ask the landlord first before you start drilling into the wall, because otherwise you'll be faced with a messy tiled wall when you move out.

Gluing a shower shelf - a better method?

To avoid holes in tiles, adhesive is often used. However, there are several methods, and not all lead to a stable, long-lasting solution. If you simply glue the shower shelves to the tiles, the adhesive may come loose over time, thus no longer guaranteeing optimal hold. Anyone (who opts for the adhesive method) should also be aware that the shower shelf will not be as stable as if it were fastened with screws.

We definitely don't think the modern adhesive technology is bad, but we want to make it even more stable.

That's why our solution is to work the shower shelf into the joint with adhesive.

How does that work?

Very simple. Remove the grout where the shower shelf is to be installed. Adhesive (e.g. ours) DURAL Speed-Flex mounting adhesive must be applied to the resulting gap and to the edge of the shower shelf and pushed into the joint. Attach the shower shelf and seal with silicone. We recommend, for example, our Fugenboy professional case set. This set contains silicone remover, smoothing agent and 6 silicone joint tools.

What do we offer?

Toothbrush cup holder

This cup holder finds its perfect place, of course, at the sink and therefore should not be missing in any bathroom. With a diameter of 7 cm, it is perfect for placing conical cups and glasses. In addition, the cup holder has three extremely practical recesses where, for example, toothbrushes can be placed.
