Function & Application of Anti-Slip Adhesive Tapes

Non-slip adhesive tapes, also known as anti-slip adhesive tapes, are specially designed tapes that provide a non-slip surface. They are usually equipped with an abrasive surface that creates increased friction when in contact with shoes or other materials, thus reducing slipping and tripping.

Anti-slip adhesive tapes are available in various designs and sizes to meet different requirements. Some tapes are waterproof and can be used indoors and outdoors, while others are specifically designed for use in wet or oily environments. Applying anti-slip adhesive tapes is simple and only requires attaching the tape to a clean, dry surface. They can also be easily cut to size for application to specific areas.

These anti-slip tapes adhere well to the floor and, thanks to their rough surface, offer effective slip protection. They can also be used as orientation aids on floors. Each tape in our range is available in 25 mm and 50 mm widths. We offer a wide range of colors in our shop. Whether you opt for a simple black or white tape, or for example a striking black/yellow striped one, our range offers the right product for various applications. Black/yellow tapes are often used as an additional warning sign in construction areas. Want something extraordinary? Then you'll also find anti-slip tapes with a transparent version, as well as one that glows in the dark (luminescent) due to a special surface.

The non-slip adhesive tapes from our range are each 5 meters long and can be used indoors or in protected outdoor areas.

Safety inserts

The safety inserts are particularly versatile. Normally, safety inserts are installed in stair profiles to provide proper slip protection, especially for stairwells. However, they can also be glued directly to the floor without profiles. They are particularly durable because the inserts consist of a mixture of silicon dioxide quartz and polymeric plastic. A considerable range of colors is available for this product. With these inserts, you can also replace old inserts in suitable stair profiles.
