The U-profile for glass mounting made of V2A stainless steel, 220 cm long and 14 mm high, offers perfect glass support and can be easily retrofitted to your floor-level shower. It allows for the secure mounting of glass panels up to 10 mm or 12 mm thick (depending on the chosen variant) to contain splashing water in your bathroom. You also have the choice between brushed and unbrushed V2A stainless steel.

A U-profile can also be used universally in glass construction. You can use it for glass showers, glass partitions, or as edge protection for glass railings. Wherever sheet metal bends are needed for glass protection or as a fastening profile, the robust and high-quality U-profiles are ideal.

Processing
The U-profile can be mounted afterwards, the type of fastening is entirely up to you - the profile can be screwed on or glued with suitable adhesive sealant.

Then fill the glass carrier profile with silicone or rubber inserts so that the glass does not rest on the bare stainless steel. Please therefore add at least 1mm to the glass pane.

Cleaning
Never clean stainless steel with abrasive materials such as steel wool, as this can damage the surface and lead to the formation of airborne rust. Cleaning agents used must be free of chlorine and hydrochloric acid.
