What are corner protection angles used for?

Aluminum corner protectors are special tile profiles used in the construction industry. They are usually triple-folded and serve to protect corners of walls from damage caused by impacts, scratches, or wear and tear. Aluminum is a popular material for corner protectors because it is lightweight, durable, and robust. We offer aluminum corner protectors in two different colors (silver & white). To meet the needs of a specific construction project, we offer these corner protectors in several finishes (white powder-coated, silver anodized & silver brushed) and widths (15 to 50 mm). Aluminum corner protectors are also ideally suited for retrofitting, as they are usually attached to the corners of walls with silicone or adhesive.

Corner protection angle made of stainless steel

Here you can choose between triple- and single-edged corner protection rails. Stainless steel corner protection profiles, similar to aluminum corner protection profiles, are special tile profiles used in the construction industry. The difference is that they are made of stainless steel, which ensures higher strength, corrosion resistance, and durability. This makes them ideal for applications in environments with high humidity or corrosion risks. You can choose between different surfaces (natural, brushed & polished) and widths (25 to 60 mm). Similar to the aluminum corner protection profiles, they are attached to the corners with mounting adhesive or silicone and are also suitable for retrofitting.

Stainless steel corner protectors are a robust and durable solution for protecting the corners of walls while offering an attractive design.

Processing of corner protection angles

1. Clean the wall surface of any impurities.
2. Apply our mounting adhesive or silicone to the inside of the corner profile.
3. Press the corner protection angle flush against the edge, and if necessary, secure it against slipping until the adhesive has dried.
4. Remove excess silicone that is oozing out from under the edges with a cleaning agent.

Care instructions

Aluminum corner protectors can be easily cleaned with common cleaning agents. For corner protectors made of stainless steel, the use of chrome polish is recommended to restore the profile's shiny surface. If stainless steel profiles are exposed to particularly aggressive media, they should be cleaned occasionally with mild detergents.
